A new role for me, but I’m not going anywhere!
As you often see in motivational videos and quotes we are supposed to be focused on enjoying the ride rather than the destination. But rarely do we actually get the opportunity to step back and ensure that we are doing that. These past five and half years have really been a blur: From publicly launching our Tribe Core Platform back in 2019 to the present day, it has been a real journey.
This would definitely not be possible without the hard work and dedication of the ever growing group of people at Tribe Payments.We have flourished into a business with over 200 employees, over 60 live clients, and the aim of keeping up our near perfect record of growing Tribe 100% year-on-year. And we remain ever grateful for the support and trust of our early adopters, such as eToro and Lerex, and the trust you put into such a young company all those years ago.
With our continued growth ambitions comes a requirement to make a much more concerted effort to take Tribe to new regions and markets in an intentional manner.
As some of you may know, we have been servicing customers in both the LAC and APAC regions remotely for the past 18-24 months, but now is the time to get serious.
So with this new intentional focus, I am delighted to say that there is a slight (well, pretty fundamental) change to my role. Moving forward I am taking responsibility for our International Expansion and Go-to-Market Strategy.
This does not mean that I will not be here for our existing partners and friends, but it does mean my focus is shifting. We are already setting out our plans for our regional expansion and should be in a position to share more before the end of the year.
I should also stress here for our European partners that this in no way dilutes our focus on attention on our existing markets; in fact it is quite the opposite, as you will have seen our commercial team expand significantly over the past few months.

2025 promises to be a standout year for Tribe and I look forward to sharing more successes with friends, colleagues and partners in the future.
So this is not a goodbye, and I am definitely not going anywhere, but this is a really exciting step for both myself and for us all in the Tribe journey.
